MELON" is a new wave band formed by Toshio Nakanishi and Chika Sato of PLASTICS.
The band's musical achievements, including participation in albums by Hosono and Takahashi of YMO, go without saying. Later, Mr. Nakanishi and K.U.D. O. established the club music label "MAJOR FORCE," and the originators, including Hiroshi Fujiwara and Kan Takagi, who were active in TINY PANX, are undoubtedly pioneers of Tokyo street culture, which is still talked about today.
MELON TOKYO, which became the root of the street culture and was active in the scene, is a deeply moving piece, and its introduction in C30 is an inevitable item.
