日本のバイヤーによってアメリカで発掘された50年代以前のプリズナーアイテムの中から、特に珍しいコーデュロイプリズナージャケットが見つかった。このジャケットは、個体ごとに違った形に作られており、パターンが存在しないかの様な独特なワンオフ感が漂っています。
それぞれ異なる形状も魅力的で、アメリカ古着特有の愛嬌を感じさせるデザインと、ディテールが際立っています。その中である程度の形が整ったスペシャルアイテムの再現に挑戦。
着用による退色や、染色が繰り返された表情も見事に再現。反応染の退色によって部分的に若干赤みを帯びた紺色も表現しました。当時の適当さから生まれた表地と裏地の縮率によるずれた表情の再現も実現。

A particularly rare corduroy prisoner jacket was found among pre-50s prisoner items unearthed in the US by a Japanese buyer. Each individual piece of this jacket is made in a different shape, giving it a unique one-off feel, as if no pattern exists.
Each different shape is also attractive, and the design and detailing stand out with a charm that is unique to American vintage clothing. We challenged ourselves to reproduce special items that have a certain degree of shape in them.
The fading caused by wear and the look of repeated dyeing are also beautifully reproduced. We also expressed a slightly reddish navy blue color in parts due to the fading of the reactive dyeing. We have also realized the reproduction of the misaligned expression caused by the shrinkage rate of the outer and lining fabrics, which was born from the appropriateness of the time.
