古いハンティング／ワークベストや防寒用のスペシャルビンテージビーチクロスベストに見られる、前身頃より後ろ身頃を長く取る“ロングバック”の機能的なバランスを着想源とした一着。腰回りを冷気から守り、前屈みの作業時にも背中が出にくい形は、装飾ではなく用途から生まれたディティールだった。
深い黒の肉厚な素材、複数のポケット、極端に長い後ろ裾が強い個性を作る。ヴィンテージの奇妙な実用美をそのまま魅力として拾い上げ、シャツやジャケットの上に重ねた際にもシルエットが成立するよう再構築している。

This piece draws its inspiration from the functional balance of the “long back” design—where the back panel is longer than the front—as seen in old hunting and work vests, as well as special vintage beach cloth vests designed for cold weather. The shape, which protects the waist from the cold and prevents the back from being exposed even when bending forward, was a detail born not from decoration but from practical use.
The deep black, substantial fabric, multiple pockets, and extremely long back hem create a strong, distinctive character. It captures the unique, practical beauty of vintage pieces as a source of charm and has been reimagined to maintain a clean silhouette even when layered over shirts or jackets.
The weathered look, born from years of exploration, has been refined into a design so authentic it could easily be mistaken for a genuine vintage piece.
