本アイテムの生地は、金子恵治氏との共同開発になります。
1960年代に色々な縫製会社によって製作されたU.S. AIR FORCEで使用されていたオックスフォードシャツを研究し、金子氏の監修のもと、緩く柔らかい特徴に特化し高級糸で織り上げた特別な生地です。ライトブルーの色合いは金子氏自身が最もフィットすると感じた特別な色であり、「KK BLUE」と命名され、今回のコレクションで展開されます。
ディテールに関しては、60年代以前のアメリカのボタンダウンシャツのミシン縫製仕様を、ミシン改造し再現した特別仕様になります。アメリカを芯に感じるゆとりあるフィットと、ボタンダウンシャツの襟ボタンを外してカジュアルに着用できる襟の形にこだわり、ヴィンテージ感を現代的に解釈したデザインが特徴です。

The fabric for this item was developed in collaboration with Mr. Keiji Kaneko.
It is a special fabric woven with high-grade yarn specializing in loose and soft characteristics under the supervision of Mr. Kaneko after studying oxford shirts used in the U.S. Air Force produced by various sewing companies in the 1960's. The light blue hue is a special color that Mr. Kaneko himself felt fit best. As for the details, the special specifications are a reproduction of the sewing machine sewing specifications of American button-down shirts from the 1960s and before, modified with a sewing machine. The design features a generous fit that feels American at its core, and a design that interprets a vintage feel in a modern way, focusing on a collar shape that can be worn casually with the collar buttons of a button-down shirt unbuttoned.
