The fabric for this item was developed in collaboration with Mr. Keiji Kaneko, who studied oxford shirts used in the U.S. Air Force produced by various sewing companies in the 1960s, and under Mr. Kaneko's supervision, this special fabric was woven with high-grade yarn specializing in loose and soft characteristics. The light blue hue is a special color that Mr. Kaneko himself found most fitting, and it is named " KK BLUE " and will be developed in this collection.
As for the details, the special specifications are a reproduction of the sewing machine sewing specifications of American button-down shirts from the 1960s and before, modified with a sewing machine. The design features a generous fit that feels American at its core, and a design that interprets the vintage feel in a modern way, focusing on the shape of the collar that can be worn casually with the collar buttons of the button-down shirt undone.
The design is finished with a story that tells the story of the shirt's owner who continued to wear the shirt repeatedly bandana repairing worn-out areas.
