Joseph Beuys is a member of the early Fluxus group and a central figure in its activities in Germany.

Fluxus is an anti-art movement that began during the art revolution of the 1960s, when the idea of art was more about ad hoc expressions such as performances and events than about figurative works, or so-called avant-garde art.

It is a style that considers living spaces as art, and the overall image is fluid and broad.

He was a friend of Andy Warhol, and his work influenced many artists.

Fluxus's work is also represented by John Cage, Yoko Ono, and Nam June Paik, among others.

He experienced World War II.

His experience during the war, in which he faced death in a fighter plane crash, led him to use "fat" and "felt" in many of his works and activities.

Although his name may not be familiar in Japan, his activities are featured in the film "Joseph Beuys Provocates" (2019).

His Fluxus activities, which have captivated the world, have definitely influenced various people, and the BOW WOW designers are of course one of those who have been influenced by him.
