weber 0001 】vintage T-shirts archive book

Nomadic vintage clothing store " weber," which celebrated its 4th anniversary on April1, 2022, will sell its first archive book " 0001," which contains 256 vintage T-shirts collected so far, in a limited edition of 1000 copies worldwide.

The book was designed by the UK-based design unit OK-RM.

This book is not a mere catalog book, but rather, the inside is mainly black-and-white pages that are arranged in an orderly fashion to give objectivity to the information, like a dictionary, while the surface is colorful and iconic, designed not only to function as a book but also to have a strong presence as an object. The contrast between the two is very striking.

The book is divided into two parts: a section with photos of 256 carefully selected vintage T-shirts by genre, including many T-shirts that are being unveiled for the first time as a weber, and a bilingual section with information on each T-shirt, including a list of the T-shirts that were previously sold at colette, Sarah Andelman The book also includes special essays by former colette editor Sarah Andelman, editor Kunichi Nomura, and weber members Hitoshi Ikeda and Kazuki Hatanaka.
