Inspired by 1940s US Navy sailor hats, this design captures the rugged aesthetic characteristic of work headgear from that era. With the historical context of different units having distinct dye colors, we envisioned the uneven hues and mottled appearance, crafting the texture through the same dyeing and finishing process used for the anorak. Originally not intended to be worn as a set with the anorak, this item was used independently for deck work and daily duties. We finished it with an atmosphere close to its actual usage scenarios, including that sense of distance.
